Leading Lasting Impact
- An In Person Conversation
Something shifts when you reach this level of leadership
The results are there. The credibility is established. But somewhere between the work you're doing and the difference you want to make, a quieter question starts to surface: will any of this hold once I'm not in the room?
It's not a crisis. It's more unsettling than that. You can see the dependency the organisation has on a handful of people, maybe including you, and you know that's not the legacy you're after. The work you care about deserves to outlast the role you currently hold.
Most leadership conversations don't go here. I think they need to.
Why Lasting Impact?
For the past few years I've been working with senior leaders across the government, private and for-purpose sectors on exactly this question. I've developed a framework called Leading Lasting Impact, which is an attempt to make that shift from indispensable leader to lasting builder something you can actually navigate, not just aspire to.
I've been sitting with this long enough that I want to get it in front of people who are operating in this territory. I’m interested to learn where it lands and where it doesn't.
That's what these conversations and gatherings are for.
"What will make a difference is leaders like you who are prepared to go first with a different way."
Who’s it for
This is for leaders who...
Past and current clients.
Senior leaders I know are carrying this question, whether or not they’ve put those words to it yet.
If you’ve been invited, I reckon you know why.
How it works
I'll share the core thinking from Leading Lasting Impact, then open it up. The conversation will do most of the work.
You'll leave with a clearer sense of where you sit on the shift from indispensable to sustainable, a printed copy of the LLI framework to take away, and a small group of peers who are grappling with the same thing.
These are small gatherings by design. Enough people to get a real and impactful conversation going.
